Same situation happened to me. I finally got the pop up but different from you, after not receiving the prompt after the pop up because I had two different ea accounts, I unlinked my old Xbox account to my PlayStation account which I want to be the main account to play on my main console which is now Xbox. I’ve lost the little progress I’ve had on Xbox because I unlinked and I am fine with that, but I’m again in this limbo where I have to wait to see if my PS account will actually merge or not…whole thing has been a very stress inducing mess for the entire community to say the very least.

I got the message it had arrived but no option to choose my xbox account only stated it would take a minute then nothing happened my xbox account had a lot of stuff on it.
