Origin games crash with no error message

1: I5 3570, 16GB DDR3, GTX 1080ti all stock. Windows 7 SP1

2: Apex Legends and Battlefield V both stutter and crash at any time without warning with no error message even while it's purring along at like ~100FPS.

Anthem I barely got to trial because mostly it just wouldn't launch without just closing without error message. I got it to launch like 3/100 tries. and it ticked away all my trial time after it crashed the last time and I'm not about to buy it because I don't trust that it's actually going to function.

3: I have always had this problem on this system since I started using it recently to play these particular games.

4: Origin In-game is disabled in both the Origin Application Settings - and in each individual game's properties - as well as any other type of potentially conflicting overlays on the system. I've uninstalled all the games as well as Origin and reinstalled them all. I've repaired them all. I've juggled graphics settings around. Each individual game and Origin itself are set to run as administrator. I've disabled CPU Turbo, I've enabled it, I've disabled thermal throttling, I've enabled it, I've given the CPU more power, I've set it back to stock power, I've fixed my RAM running at the wrong speed when left to Auto in the BIOS and not the correct XMP profile. I've monitored temps - never get above 85c. I've reseated and regreased the processor. I've replaced my RAM. I've monitored voltages. I've eliminated shared IRQs. I've tracked process latency and execution time. Everything is for all intents and purposes, perfect.

There is no indication there is any issue with anything in my system in any way. I can try to melt the CPU with prime95 crunching prime numbers at 95c and it never has a calculation error. No drivers issues. No diagnostic tools reveal any issues with new RAM. NOTHING ELSE HAS ANY ISSUES OR CRASHES OR DOES ANYTHING UNEXPECTED OR INDICATES I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS IN ANY WAY ON MY END.

Except everything run through Origin. I can play Steam games no problem. I can play Blizzard games no problem. Everything Origin related is a problem.

  • I have the same issue, but just with Apex Legends, it's really annoying.

Had a game ~45 Minutes ago where I found a legendary Backpack + R-301 (Gold),

30 Seconds later it crashed (without error of course).

I've tried everything (can't even count it anymore).

There's literally no chance to fix it by yourself, it's definitely a problem with the game, because all others are working.

    Hardware & OS:

    Spoiler
    • CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-7700K
(4.80 GHz @ 1.245 vCore, Delidded and cooled with Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2)
    • GPU: ASUS ROG Strix OC GeForce® GTX 1060
      (Overclocked with GPU Tweak II)
    • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000
      (2x 8 GB; 16 GB @ 3.000 MHz XMP OC)
    • OS: Windows 10 Pro

It makes no fun to play it with such an issue, I'll play it again when it's fixed.
