Origin in game overlay

Origin in game overlay

I have a major issue, well in my opinion it is a major issue. I have had to disable origin in game overlay for apex as it would cause my system to crash and reboot entirely. I went through many, many, too many possible solutions found in online forums, none of which helped. Eventually i disabled the origin overlay and all my crashing came to an end. I now, however have an issue with this as i cannot see in game party requests from friends, previous teammates etc. i now have to add the person as a friend first, and then only i can join on them or send them an invite, if they send me an invite as a friend, i can only see this by alt tabing back to origin and then accept from friends tab there.

Any info or fix for this?

TIA

    Hi @Random0B1

In a lot of cases issues with the Origin In-Game overlay are due to conflicts with other overlays. Do you run anything else such as the Discord overlay? If so, I'd recommend disabling them and re-enabling Origin In-Game to see if that helps at all.

If it's still happening afterward can you give me some more details on what sort of other troubleshooting steps you've tried so far?

    /Kent
