Despite In game overlay being enabled globally and in the game tab the game complains that it is disabled when trying to view profile.
Trying to bring the overlay up does nothing either (Shift+F1).
How do I get this working?
And why oh why does it need to launch a damn overlay for what should be ingame stats?
If you have MSI afterburner on your computer, check if NVIDIA Shadowplay that is blocking or RivaTuner.
RivaTuner was the problem for me
When in game, pressing shift+F1 does not bring up the Origin overlay for me. While trying to buy coins in the store I received an "Origin overlay is not enabled" message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Origin and the game. I've updated my drivers. And of course I've verified the the overlay works in other games. I'm very much enjoying the game and I'd like to spend some money here.

I have the same issue. I want to pay for the other 2 legends but it saya that the coins are not available yet.
I have this problem too. Discord overlay is disabled (I never use it for any game) and the overlay is enabled in origin for global and Apex itself. I have tried to disable it and enable it again but still won't work in game.
Same here. I've tried almost everything it seems like and it states its disabled but its actually enabled in origin when i look
same here they said its a server issue
Also having this issue. My FPS counter is set to on and works with every other Origin game, but not Apex.
You have any MSI afterburn or something like that?
I closed my MSI afterburn and i got the origin in-game overlay work. So i think that is problem.
