Player balancing in Apex Legends

So you want to win more. Ok, got it. I think the game is pure * TBH. Completely pointless. Run around shoot guys. Get sot from behind more often then not. In the end, who cares? This is what games have come to nowadays. Sad part is, people actually think they're good. 

I am pretty sure you missed the point of the OP completely. That probably happens a lot when you post about a game you don't care about...

I am enjoying the game even though I don't really care for the Battle Royale genre. The fact is it does seem odd that players with very disparate levels/kills/games played are matched together instead of using some sort of MM system based on all of those gathered and recorded statistics.

Land on map, frantically search for weapon. Find pistol. 20 seconds later get wiped by team with rifles. Rinse. Repeat 30 times. Game is *. Where's the fun? Older games used to be fun. Sorry you've been trained by the gaming industry to actually think this pointless game is fun. I got the OP's post. So what? There's a gun that actually works? So? If he get's that gun, then he can use it too. Or, run around frantically to find something better and wipe the guy out. What's wrong with a pistol that actually kills guys? He doesn't like it because a couple guys killed him with it. If I had said nerf this or that you would tell me to git gud. Lol. Make up your mind guys!

... and again off target. Did you even read the post I made in response? I'm pretty sure since your mind is made up and you don't care, you just like to say the same thing over and over again. Why make the post then since you don't care? I said... I don't even like this type of game. That said, how the heck is that trained by the industry? Ha! That's exactly the opposite of trained by the industry. I have not bought in at all so far. I have never had an interest except to see what all the fuss is about. Because you're right about one thing(though you never really said it directly), there is a complete lack of depth in the game type... And though still not a fan, I like Apex despite not enjoying the game type and concept ever before.

The OP has a valid point of someone with likely well over 100 hours of experience and obviously higher kill levels faces someone with 0 hours of experience and skill. There definitely can be a MM system that would allow for a more level footing. But again, if you come to grips with the 20 second or 15 minute game time, it's not a huge deal. It just feels pretty valid when you run into someone with over 100+ times the amount of kills you have after playing only handful of games.

It's like you're trying really hard to miss the point and only say, "I don't like this game type and if you do you're not very intelligent". 

I for one hope they bring in some sort of skill based matchmaking system. I've been trying to enjoy this game but currently I only get one evening a week to play and irm reallystruggling to get gud. 

When I was younger I had no problem. That's coz I could play all day everyday. 

I suppose this is the other side to the OPs problem. 

If you get stomped to easily every time the game becomes no fun. Am I wrong?

Look I know I'm * but some people are amazing at this game. Like I'll shoot a guy in the back and as I'm unloading my clip they will turn around and down my * in no time. 

Yeah I suck. I'm just saying there has to be room for the casual players too.

The point of the game style is glory. Youre both completly right about it lacking depth, but the literal point is to be the top dog. Wether you hide in a bush for 20mins or kill every single player on the server. If you want depth go play an objective based shooter like Siege or maybe even Titanfall if youre enjoying Apex.
