Playstation 4 ver. Apex Legends always crashes mid game.

Not much to explain and not much detail. I am  playing Apex Legends on Playstation 4 and it is always crashing. Sometimes it crashes at the beginning of the game, most times when I am killing a lot of enemies.  Not predictable at all. Totally random crashing. Impossible to rank up.Although already a terrible problem it has become much worse after season 4 update. Now the game crashes mid ranked game and after I restart the game I find a E.A. threat stating "We have detected you quit to no fault of your own any more quits will lead to further action" or something like that Now it is becoming scary. I poor a lot of money into this game one who supports your product would expect it to ran smoothly, right.

I see. That's definitely some pretty extensive troubleshooting. Have you had a chance to try changing your PS4 to a different DNS to see if that helps? The DNS is basically the address book that your device is using to determine how it will be reaching its destination over the internet. Using a different DNS can help in some cases when you're having issues.

To update your DNS on PS4 follow these steps:

    1. Open up the Settings on your PS4, then go to Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either WiFi or LAN cable depending on what you're using.
    2. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual)
    3. Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS.
    4. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection

Let me know how that goes when you have the chance. Thanks!

    Hey @Sengence

I know that dealing with crashing definitely gets pretty frustrating. We should try running through some steps to see if we can help get that sorted out for you here. When you have the chance can you try the PS4 steps from over at the EA Help site

Let me know if you're still running into the same crashes afterward.

    Hi again @Sengence

Did you have a chance to try running through any of the steps I mentioned yesterday? Are you still having trouble with crashes?

    /Kent

  • @EA_Kent  I am having the same exact issue he is having and I have contacted customer support multiple times, I have 6 cases and the crashing is still occurring, I am also on PS4 and this doesn't happen with any other game nor has it happen until the season 4 update, now I am crashing to my home screen and up to 300 min ban times. After 6 calls to customer support, portforwarding, factory reseting my PS4, clearing my cache, restoring license, doing the OU trace and still nothing is there anyway you can help me before I end up getting a 1000 min ban time and quit all together

    Hey @SilentShadow110

Did you have a chance to try updating your DNS settings? Are you still having trouble with the same issues as before?
