i cant find anything about if wooting keyboards, even with all the software disabled, are banned. i can find a couple people who got banned, who also used them, but one of them had like 3 accounts so im not sure whether it was the wooting and if he used the software or not, or if it was for an unrelated issue.
gentlepybro Based on what I can find out about this keyboard online, it would seem that this keyboard's utilities/software itself has stuff that is against EA's TOS and EA's fair play policy, (so I do suggest using a different keyboard as this keyboard can potentially lead to an account ban).
Bottom line up front: Use at your own risk, I myself would not risk it.
When in doubt do not use it. EA and most other game publishers do not provide a comprehensive or even limited lists of banned hardware and or software and why. As this would reduce their ability to catch players using such for gaining unfair advantages.
If the keyboard even without the software would grant some sort of unfair advantage in gaming that is not a good thing.
I would suggest using some other brand of gaming keyboard.
From what I was able to read up on it I would be leery about using it.
It does have software that could lead to account issues.
I am not sure that even if you do not use the software that it can be fully turned off. This could also possibly lead to account issues.
Maybe someone smarter than me will be able to reply here with better information.
