Prediction Error Help

Is there any fix for the prediction error? This has never happened to me until after the recent update. It only happens for this game specifically, and no switching servers does not help. It's really annoying and has costed me several fights today. I'll run in a straight line then head a different direction of interest and the game lags. Gunfights include late hits and kills plus unregistered damage even though footage shows the bullets hitting the opponent. Sometimes the game doesn't register that I picked up and item while that dastardly broken stick symbol is present. It's really annoying and is causing me to just quit the game.
