Primary account may be lost due to Cross Progression

Hello, I've been playing Apex Legends for years on my PSN account and put a lot of time and money into it, (3 Heirlooms, multiple legendary skins, kills, etc) so when cross-progression was announced for PC I was excited because I have been a PC gamer for along time and was excited to finally play with all my cosmetics, once I linked accounts on to my PC my PSN account progress was nowhere to be found on my PC and instead it put my lower level account I had on my PC. And even worse when I booted up Apex on my PSN, it put my low-level account from my PC onto there which is supposed to be my high-level apex account and not my low-level one. Because of this, I am afraid that I'm about to lose 3 of my heirlooms and all my skins and cosmetics i rightfully earned and paid for. I never unlinked accounts or anything you are not supposed to do, and followed instructions perfectly as you're supposed to. So I contacted EA support for two days straight and finally got in contact with an Agent live and was told to report this bug here. I'm hoping the game team restores my progress as there are multiple charges and apex packs I have bought and earned through my hours of gameplay on my PSN for years. All I wanted to do was play on that account on my PC and I followed all the instructions accordingly. Please help me

  • Hey @iamthekloud,

    It looks like your PSN progress is still on the EA account where that was initially earned.

    Progress is stored at the EA account level, not individual platforms.

    In this case it does look like your PSN account was unlinked from the EA account where that progress was first unlocked and has instead been linked to the account with your PC progress, which is why that's all you're seeing at this point.

    This particular EA account has only launched Apex on a PlayStation system for the first time a couple days ago, so if you played in the past that appears to have been on a different EA account.

    You'll need to re-link your PSN account to the original EA account to try restoring that progress.

    Please take a look at the links below and feel free to contact support directly if you're running into trouble with the re-linking process.

    thank you by the way

  • i just relinked my PSN to my first ever EA account and still no progress restoration on both PSN and PC, these are the only two accounts I have ever made on EA, im not so sure what to do now? ive played for so long on PSN did I had to connect it previously?

    @iamthekloud

    In order to play Apex on any platform, you would have first needed to link to an EA account, correct. That would prompt you to log into an EA account the first time you launch any EA title on another platform.

    I'm not sure which other account you had tried linking to, though that information is not something we'd be able to discuss details about on the forums since these are public boards visible to anyone.

    At this point it would be best to try reaching out to support directly to see if they can help locate any other potential accounts based on any information you may recall.
