prime gaming skin issues

so I redeemed the 2 skins that you can get from prime gaming at the moment an hour ago and restarted apex 3 or 4 times in 15minute gaps, but they still arent there. I had the same problem with the gta V loot and since this is the second time it didnt work i thought id write this question.

My accounts are connected, both amazon prime and ea (/rockstar social).

I downloaded apex on steam and gta on epic though, could this be the issue?

If someone got the same problem and fixed it somehow pls tell me how, thanks in advance.
