Hi, he's not the only one to get this issue : i5 4670k, 8go ram, 7970GHz, win10 updated, drivers up to date and cleaned via DDU

    What I did :

    Windows :

    - Disable "Game mode" and "DVR"

    - On Apex exe disabled "Fullscreen optimization" run as admin

    Radeon settings :

    - Don't have access of wattman, I have the overdrive instead and it's set up to default

    - Create a profile for Apex in purpose to disable "Freesync" "Enhanced sync" "Chill"

    - Disable Radeon Overlay

    Origin :

    -Disable Overlay

    Apex :
    - everything on low (even if the game wants me to put better settings)

The game is running really well, it just randomly freeze (image frozen and no sound) I have to go back to desk

    thanks for your answer blueberry

effectively I recently change my CPU, motherboard and my ram. Do you think the problem comes from those changes?

This looks like this error is stemming from AMD Wattman and Windows. I searched the error online and found this discussion in the AMD Community: https://community.amd.com/thread/204322

It looks like you can fix this by making sure you have all the latest updates for your Windows. Try searching Windows Updates in your desktop search bar. Make sure all devices are updated, including your GPU.

That's actually up to date, I installed optional driver of AMD (19.2.3) which is supporting Apex (so I'm not on 19.3.1, the last one, but from the change log, no change except for the radeon VII, and there's a bug in r6s).

No big change, I had a one crash on 3h, at the beginning. It seems to be better but after that I didn't play apex so I can't tell, sometimes it's crashing a lot and sometimes it doesn't. Impossible to tell if that's fixed, but that's not fixed 100% sure. Apparently from forums, there's a lot of bugs with wattman, which is an option you can not disable and also they didn't renamed wattman, because this option doesn't exist anymore on 7xxx

    hey everyone

thanks for your answer but after trying many things my problem still the same. Do you think my it can come from the hardware like my GPU or my power supply? do you if I change for example the GPU for an Nvidia one my problem will be solved?

  • Hi, I have the same problem, how did u solved it? I tried a lot of "fixes" but none of them worked.
