"Profile does not meet age requirements"

When attempting to launch Apex Legends today, after clicking to continue to the game, a notification popped up saying that my profile does not meet the age requirements to play online. Just last night I was playing Apex fine without any issues, but this only seemed to occur after this update. My account is old enough, as it meets the 13+ age requirement to play Apex Legends in the United States.

  • Hey there, this was patched earlier this morning. For those who dont use X. 

    We hope you're all enjoying the start of the newest split! We have made the following quick fixes:

    FIXED - Players will no longer respawn with attachments equipped - Season 28 Split 2 badge is now appropriately located in the BP and calibrated to the right split (was previously displaying Split 1 stats) - Fixed a number of crashes - players should experience more stable matches - Players will no longer encounter an error that restricted access based on age verification

    REMOVED: - Temporarily disabled the Galactic Guardian Horizon skin as it's causing crashes

    Same exact thing bro. I've been playing apex for years and this never happened. 

  • Hey guys, so I have a problem where after I updated my game in apex legends i suddenly get this restriction that says "this profile does not meet the age requirements to play apex legends or something. and when i tried to search a solution for it online, i couldn't find one                                                          PS:  I have been playing the game for a week or more and just after I installed the new update at apex legends i suddenly got that restriction. (I'm 17yrs old btw.)  can anyone help me?

  • This is a persistent issue on every start up. need to wait up to 1 minute to get into lobby with a message that tells me, "This profile is not permitted to play online".

    During a game, the game randomly freezes and I can only move POV, then the game kicks me to login in screen, and I'm stuck there again with the message "This profile is not permitted to play online" for another minute until i can get back in. 

    things I've tried: verify game files, check my ban history (none), restarting home internet, changing servers, none worked so far.

    I am on PC playing through steam, has been an issue since late last year
