pretty much title, in case I want to close the game or restart it, apex legends as a window disappears but the process keeps running. I've tried multiple things to fix it such as killing it with cmd, task manager, repairing, reinstalling.
Anyone has a fix?

I'm running i7-12700k + rtx 3080, never have had issues on games way higher end than this.
Imagine having only a USB headset and having this issue. Playing the game without sound would be... different.
Wow I found so many threads about this, still the 1 core being stuck at 100% not been fixed. PLEASE HELP
anybody home? problem is back after 4 years ago; steam and reddit are starting to fill up with this problem again...ppl are tinkering with batch files, editing the registry, managing certificates, and the respawn, as always, is unfazed. I've already written to Epic's anti-cheat support; maybe they're unaware that their anti-cheat has gone rogue again.
