Random frame skips in game with sudden spike in ping

I have been having random frame skip issues since July 2021 while I'm in a game. I noticed that whenever there is a skip, the ping will have a sudden spike to 120ms before going down to 50ms. So the ping will spike to 120ms for 1 sec which is coupled with a frame skip, then the ping will go down to 50ms which is coupled with smooth frames for around 5 secs. This cycle repeats for around 1 to 2 minutes before it stabilises at 50ms. It will then have these random episodes throughout the game.

I have tried re-installing the game and it doesn't work.
