Rank Reset Bugged, and EA doesn't want to fix
My rank before the reset was Gold 2 and it was reset to Copper 3. I'm a Day 1 player, and have many kills, and history of wins.
Now heres the problem. My friend (With a new account) Got to Gold 4, and was reset to silver 4
My other friend who played for only 2 years got to Silver 1 and was reset to Silver 4
EA does not want to simply give me the RP and Proper reset. I hope EA sees this and finds out why
Gold 2 To Copper 3 DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, especially with the new way they did the reset.
Hey JaminGenotype,
The reset this season was not based on your RP, but rather the MMR of the account (listed in the patch notes as tracked skill value). With that in mind, it's entirely possible for you and your friends to start at different ranks even if you ended last season much closer together.
We can certainly pass along the feedback for how that feels, but we wouldn't be adjusting accounts manually I'm afraid.
Fortunately, you're all still close enough in rank that it won't impact you grouping up if that was your squad previously!
