Re: AMD Phenom Crash to Desktop after choosing training or matchmaking :(

After loading game crashes to desktop. It seems like old "phenom bug". Does this game run SSE 4.1?

I crashed 6 times and reinstalled the game and reinstalled drivers and restarted computer mulitple times. It still doesn't work. So I guess we will have to wait till the fix comes out!

I have a AMD PHENOM II X6 1100T PROCESSOR THE SAD THING IS PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE SAME PROCESSOR AS ME BUT THEIR GPU IS A 2080 TI THEY STILL WONT BE ABLE TO PLAY THATS SCREWED UP several hours into debugging this issue before finding out that common CPU instruction set support was dropped for no apparent reason (and was NOT outlined in the minimum specifications).

PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE -- My Phenom is more than capable benchmark-wise of running this game, and I will not cave and upgrade just for this (I'll just go play something else). Simply write the patch that supports SSE x.x based on what the phenom supports as many other developers have done.

Let me point out that there ARE enough phenom users to make fixing this worth it to the developer. Money we don't have to spend needlessly scrapping a perfectly good CPU (and mainboard) is money I am more inclined to spend in the game IF I COULD PLAY.

Guys, stopping to think, it might have been really typos the SSE 3 part, you know, in that case, we can't play unless we switch CPU, right? I speak this not to be feeding on foolish hopes, because if the next update doesn't solve our problem, it means that neither Respawn nor even EA care about helping us and NEVER an AMD Phenom will run this game

The recent update to Apex makes my game unplayable. I get a system message "CPU does not have SSSE 3 (Supplemental SSE 3 Instructions)!". I have a phenom II x6 1090T processor and it absolutely does have SSE3. I have been playing the game with good framerates and doing fine until this last update. Please don't tell me they've arbitrarily decided to block certain CPUs. I've heard someone had this same issue and got around it but also got banned immediately because of it. I'm not gonna try those kind of shenanigans, I just wont play if it's going to be this way. My CPU is a powerhouse, overclocked, and stable, and I'm not gonna waste the work I did getting it this way on a new CPU and mobo just to play one picky game. ☹️ Is there a good way around this or are they planning on fixing it? I consider this to be a fail/bug, not a "feature". hah.
