Apex has become unplayable with this consistently annoying lag causing us to lose gunfights. It’s not on any single one of us, it has the do with respawn and the ability to run it on the old consoles such as xbox one. If it doesn’t get fixed soon Apex will be losing a lot of players from this
Holy sh** ! We've actually done it after months. They saw restarting our console was not the issue
Hopefully this is fixed It’s borderline unplayable at the moment constant stutters mid fight and server disconnects along with getting missing teammates the bugs are endless if they don’t fix il just play something else I love the game but I won’t try play the game in it’s current state.
It happens to me every time I get in a close fight. Lose a lot of fights that way. Happened to my buddy and then he got a series x and it stopped. I have a one s. It's been near impossible to snag a series x online without paying scalper prices.
This problem has been going on for months as of today, July 28. I'm confident this will never be fixed and same situation where Apple got in trouble for updates causing older model phones to not work properly. Will keep trying for a series x but that's clearly the only solution for Xbox Apex gameplay
I too have been getting this stuttering issue and have tried everything to resolve it.
Lets face it if you have a Xbox 1 its going to be unplayable in season 10 so why dont they just remove it from crossplay and give it its own dedicated server.
They have introduced mobile and since the launch of that Apex has been unplayable for me and I guess many others as well.
I have been getting error codes and game freezing after character select screen for the past 2 weeks now and every fire fight lags out really badly and even opening a loot box my game stutters.
There is an issue and it needs to be fixed.
People have invested a lot of money into this game only to be let down by the developers.
People research on Trello.com about tomorrow's patches, and they say there will be a patch for the xbox one fix when it freezes in game. Let's hope to test tomorrow to see if the problem is solved.

I've seen 2 people saying if you put Apex on a SSD, the game runs smoothly. I'm supposed to get one tomorrow and I'll test it out
I guess this is still a persistent issue that is not resolved. I did the following on the xbox one x:Changed data centers, changed FOV/visual settings, Added the all the ports of xbox (3074UDP/TCP 4500UDP etc), NAT-Open changed DNS, cleared the MAC, UOTRACE came back "fine" 0%/100% Packet Loss etc. and ofc hard reset xbox/ router. Issue still persist from s9 to present?? Guess this is the price of old gen console but still.. it was working fine before... (-_-*)
@illnastyone @NENECRACKING So it works guys. 0 stutters in my games. Gliding with Horizon feels fresh. I did saw the logo on the top right in training range but it didn't affect the gameplay. It's like in my comparaison videos before the crossplay merge; it's there but there's 0 to none stutter/ freezes. I will be getting an SSD on Wednesday so we will see if it works for me as well. All I know is that I can confirm it is NOT internet lag or anything related to ping at all. That feels entirely different because I get it from time to time if I'm downloading something on my PC and playing on the Series S. So I am hopeful that the SSD works for me as well on the One.

Just tested the on a Xbox One S model (with tbe same SSD drive mentioned a few posts earlier). All stutters have completely ceased. Game runs flawlesly now.

Just got mine in today as well and ran one game. ZERO STUTTERS on Xbox One folks. Looks like all those endless hours of being made to believe it was your internet was in fact. Incorrect. It is 100% the HHD. The SSD fixed my issue on Xbox One instantly.
I play on xbox one s and I get very low fps with constant stuttering, I have strong wifi with a ethernet cable too

Bro I quit. I literally gave the new Xbox Series X and when I start a match. 3 seconds goes by and bam… 2-3 lag freeze in frames. Then 4-5 seconds go by… then bam, another freeze. FOR THE ENTIRE MATCH. It’s why I’m big mad I wasted money on Xbox so I could play with friends before the cross play. Back to ps5 while this thing collects dust.
