Re: apex says that my account is logged in on another device even when im not

I am having this problem as well. Decided to play Apex on my PS5 for the night, and linked my PS5 account to my EA account. That all worked fine, but now on Steam when I try and launch the game on my PS5, it tells me that "this profile is already logged in on another device" and I'm stuck there on the game launch screen. My PS5 is completely shut down, it's off. So right now completely locked out of Apex on Steam.

Update, it works now. About 15 minutes or so after shutting down my PS5. So maybe you have to give it enough time in between for it to recognize you're logged out of PSN.

Exact same here. I logged into my PS5 to check out cross progression, cant get back on PC.

Edit: Also took about 15 minutes but I am back on PC again.

It might be possible your accounts are compromised and that someone else is using your account to play the game.

What did you do to fix it

I can’t say if it will work for other platforms- but I was on my switch, closed the game, and couldn’t get into Apex on my PS5 for over 30 minutes. As a weird workaround I had my friend boot up apex and invite me on PlayStation, and I got in no problem. It bypasses the log in screen, takes me straight to the lobby. So if you have a buddy maybe they can help by sending you an invite on the platform you wanna play on. Unfortunately I am not willing to test out other methods in case i brick my account.
