- So that seems to have sorted it. However - when I lower the resolution the brightness is really bad and therefore hard to play. But if I dont use a lower resolution it lags. Any idea?
I dont know why the brightness of the monitor would be affected.
Maybe switch between full screen and boardered?
- No change sadly.
My screen brightness also changes with resolution or FPS settings, such a weird game, lol.
But for me, geforce experience has been causing big frame drops in many games, so I uninstalled it and can easily lock to between 100-120 FPS in games like fortnite or overwatch.
In this game I had to lock at half my monitors refresh (72FPS) in order to stop the constant frame drops.
Id say post a bug report and let the Dev's look into this and be sure to forward this post so others know what you have tried
You uninstalled geforce and it increased your FPS? Did you reset the settings before uninstalling?
dadphilly has a 4th gen CPU i would not be surprised if that just free'd up some resources that his GPU needed.
