i know its been a while since someone responed back to you post, but they just did the same thing to me, and matter of fact they placed the worst name ever that i couldnt even pronounce and its worst than the one i had before, i feel they should give someone a fair chance to adjust their own name not force a Gamertag on someone knowing that the person can try to change it on e their own him/her self. This is very unfair i have been with my gamertag for many years not the one u see now but the one before in all different platforms and i never had a single warning or a problem of any kind. i feel that the customer has the right to change thier own name to something more appropriate with EA policies , not just force a name unto that player that is way more offensive to the player like myself than what i had before. i feel that EA should state this on their own website with at least a video that these changes where coming about especially for players that i have been with EA over 10 to 15 years back, and state that first warning would give the player a chance for the player to adjust their name in a certan way not just ban their account and stop the player from adjusting their names thats wrong. we have rights as well and that is very unfair to us. EA let me change my name to a proper name not force me to stay with a more offensive name now than it was given to me i feel that we have a right to change our own name and if we cant maybe we can give you some of our ideas on what we think is appropiate to EA's Policy at least that much not just lock us out completely on changing out gamer tag period with out any notice whatsoever.
