Re: Code:Snake Banned with no reason

So let's hope, the work is still in progress and all of the accounts are rewatched. I'm still waiting at the moment...

I got unbanned aswell.

Those of you who have been unbanned, did you continue filing appeals, or did it happen randomly?   I wonder if theyre aware of the situation or if theyre all single scenarios.

i got the snake error as well and got banned for no reason . i fired the ticket , and it is 24 hours already . still banned . and it said ïn progress"in the "my case". 

I hope they actually help everyone who got banned thanks to this stupid bug.   Ive been banned for over a week now sadly, so hopefully I get an email with some good news soon.

I've sent in another appeal with a screenshot of the error code.   Praying they take it seriously this time and I don't just get another copy & pasted email saying it was correct.

Sigh.   Theyve finally reviewed my 2nd appeal and let me know that they still think I'm full of it.    Appalled at how people can spend hundreds on a game and then they get tossed to the side by whatever bug is happening that the devs refuse to address.  

Id also love to mention how they send you a copy & pasted email that everyone recieves if theyve "taken the correct action", and then immediately send another email asking you to fill out a survey on their customer service.

It happened.

After my third mail (and an instand automated  answer with "We will not look again to your case, yo already had two loopups" where I explained in details what I thought it could have been with my account,, I recieved a new mail.

"We overlooked again and well you're free - lol"

So I guess, I won't,play the game via Steam in the neyt future...

Are you able to check and see if you've received a similar email or are able to access the game again now as well?

"We recently notified you about a sanction placed on your EA account. After further review, this sanction has been removed."

Do you have information on what happened?  Did you have our accounts specifically looked into or is this a mass unban happening atm?  I'm thankful it looks to be resolved however I haven't had a chance to play the game yet so I will let you know when I do.  Little scared to play incase I get false banned again.

Woke up to an email saying I was unbanned as well.   Id also love some more information if it's avaliable.   Should I expect it to happen again or am I safe to play?

Excellent, glad to hear it. 

I don't currently have any other information beyond what was provided in your emails, but we've definitely been following this and passing along the feedback and what info we can. If we get any other updates we're able to share I'd be happy to do so, but I'm unsure how likely that will be.

This would have also been noted on your account so as not to impact any actions or status going forward, so you should be able to jump back in-game just fine. 

I totally get the concern especially after having prior appeals fail, but thanks for sticking in there everyone.

@EA_Mako Very appreciative of your work.  You're the only really professional interaction I've had with any EA support so thank you for putting in the effort.  I hope to hear more info sometime or an official statement but I understand that may be unlikely.  Hopefully other people who haven't made their way to these forums but are dealing with the same issues are also getting unbanned.

@EA_Mako Can you please help me? I was banned today after trying to go into a duo game! What is the cause for code snake??? I did not do anything wrong I don't understand why I am banned I follow all the rules, please help! My ban appeal isn't being seen. ☹️

I got banned too for no reason after finally hitting plat. Dont really know what to say other than i am really unhopeful of them actually unbanning me after reading some of these comments. Really frustrating

If you submitted an appeal with these steps, the Terms of Service team will get back to you. That's not instantaneous and may take a little time, but I would just keep an eye on your email and you'll hear back shortly.
