Hey @3500ReaPer,

Did you link your Xbox to a different EA Account than it's been connected to prior to this?

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

You would need to re-link the original accounts to try restoring access to any missing progress. Please contact support directly if you need any help with that process.

  • I've only ever had a single EA account, because I was required to create it to play apex. I have not connected it to a different account prior to this.

    Thanks for the clarification!

    Just looking over the account itself, it does look like the Xbox account was unlinked from this EA Account back in January.

    It looks like that's around when this account went through Cross Progression as well. 

    Any time you unlink an account there's a chance your progress will be lost permanently. If you re-link the same platforms (as you've already done) there is a chance that progress will be restored, however it's not something we can guarantee.

    Unfortunately, if you've re-linked the same accounts but the progress still hasn't appeared for you, that progress would be lost. We are not able to manually restore progress if it isn't recovered via re-linking.

  • @EA_Mako Oooh I remember now, but I believe I only did that because the progress was not showing in the first place. I still see my account progress on third party websites and I have friends added on my EA account, just not in game. Is there a definite way to know is all my progress is deleted?

    I'm afraid if your accounts have been re-linked and you're on the original EA Account where the progress was earned but still aren't seeing that progress, that would be the definitive way.

    Have you played fairly consistently since January, or did you take a break and are just returning?

  • @EA_Mako I took a long break when I switched to pc. After hearing about cross progression, I attempted to make a return. The cross progression failed to work, I was having complications with steam aswell as im new to pc. Eventually I gave up and played on a different steam account. I randomly got a spark of hope that all my heirlooms and such weren't deleted when I saw my progress on a website. I am currently downloading apex on my xbox to see if maybe the progress is still existing there or if it deleted when I unlinked.

    If you do launch Apex on your Xbox again without any change, please check your DMs here on AHQ.

    Depending on some account details there may be another step we can try, but we'd need to confirm some info first!
  • I'm not really sure how this site works, but I think I dm'd you. I still do not see the progress when I sign in through my xbox and would like the try the other method if that is possible. I have not played much since January, if that's when the cross progression took place, I am fine with losing any data after that.

  • I'm having the same issue where I talked to the ea help and also a staff worker and they said it would be fixed but I've just been set as a level 1 with no gear or anything  at all even though I spent so much money on this game and had unlocked so many skins and heirlooms.

    I took a break as my pc broke so I got an xbox and have just recently tried to play again and link and nothing's coming back to my account and I don't know what's going on.

    Hey there,

    It doesn't look like the account you're posting from has any Apex progress prior to Cross Progression becoming active. 

    Was there another email or account you may have used in the past? If you don't recall or no longer have access to another account, it would be best to contact support so they can help try to track that down. However, this account does not have any notable progress or heirlooms.
