I would like to know why this change is needed in the first place? What has respawn and EA done that now requires half the world to change DNS settings? This is not something that any other game developers are requesting their users to do. In fact they fix it because not all gamers have IT knowledge. Hier a capable person to deal with your crappy issues for * sakes. Steal a fortnite dev if you have to, cause there ain't as many unsolved issues down at Epic.

Disgusting that your fix for the problem you made is the user doing something about it.

Doubt I'll get any feedback to this rant either, simply because I'm posting a question that they, not won't but, can't answer due to the lack of skilled staff.

That's a good point you make but I want to make clear I'm not an EA / Respawn Employee.
I'm a player that helps people when they have an issue with Apex Legends.

So why am I asking to change your DNS server?

Most of the time when you cannot reach a server, the host or the server is down but this was not the case for this issue.

So I looked if the DNS of people's ISP was having issues reaching the Apex Servers.

This looked to be the case for a lot of people and would explain why a lot of people have this issue in a particular area.

A quick solution is using a reliable DNS server, for example, the one of Google or Cloudflare.

It may sound a bit complicated but I hope you see I'm just trying to keep everyone ingame.

Ps4 pro. On apex error 404. I've changed my dns to 8.8.8.8 an 8.8.4.4 still not working any suggestions 

I’ve tried changing the DNS but still not woriking what am i supposed to do now? Please help i’ve been trying to figure this out for a whole day?
