Re: EA account not permitted to play online after the cross progression update xbox

Hello,

my problem is that 2 days ago I received the cross progression notification, but when I clicked on CONTINUE, it took about 3 seconds to load and at the end, it gave me an error that said "THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT PERMITTED TO PLAY ONLINE. SEE EA.COM/UNABLE-TO-CONNECT FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION".

What I did was close APEX and relaunch the game, I was able to enter the game and the lobby, but the cross progression didn't happen. The message WELCOME TO CROSS PROGRESSION never appeared.

Currently, I play on PlayStation which is my oldest account, but I have an Xbox account that I used for almost 3 years and it is the one linked to my EA.COM account.

Please help me with this.

    I’m having the same problem my Xbox account won’t let me play ever since I pressed continue. I can’t ready up or anything. I haven’t played in like a week and a half.

    @xt0xicxgirl Same exact problem, no help online, unlinked on ea relinked uninstalled reinstalled, no luck, Xbox as well. Cannot invite club members or join them from invites, strangely all my skins are accounted for, but level not displaying above caracter head? 🤦‍♂️ dying here
