@EA_BarrySo we are trying to do this, but she cant seem to find where to uninstall her GPU. She has the AMD driver posted above
Ok so we uninstalled the driver and had her re install every thing, but then we got this
""apex legends " "eror the VC ++ runtime redistributable package was not installed succesfully , steup cannot continue (1618)
this is me not even touching apex legends mind u
i just have origin open after the driver finished"I am also having the same problem and it just started today yesterday it was all fine. My gpu is MSI sapphire pulse 560 series....The whole lobby including the texts and the character becomes blurry as in pixelated. I tried choosing the repair option in the origin but still nothing
any updates on this? Im having the same issue
Hey @mrdarkfox22 ! I've fortunately found a fix for this. If you're using AMD GPU, you can go the the AMD Radeon Software > Gaming > 'Apex Legends', and follow these steps:
1. Disable Radeon Boost
2. Enable Radeon Anti-Lag
3. Enable Radeon Enhanced Sync
4. Set scaling mode to 'Full panel'
I hope this will solve your problem!THANK YOU!
- @GunGamer-0070 This worked. Thank you!
Just wanna say this guy is a legend. Thanks man, fix the issue got my new rig and this issue occured. Save me a lot of time.
- @GunGamer-0070 solved my prob thanks
thanks u so much
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
- @GunGamer-0070 it works, thank you very much
I have both these same issues. I haven't been able to fix the blurring when I move my mouse--but i did fix the missing .dll files. Download cc cleaner (with the broom icon) its free, so don't pay for anything, and then run the "regristry" scan. it should auto-detect and install missing .dll files. then you can uninstall cc cleaner safely. The other way to do it is find the specific .dll that you are missing and copy it into the regristry manually, but that it risky and complicated. I'm sure there are other auto-tools that do it for you, but I can attest to cc cleaner working.
- @GunGamer-0070 YAAAAAY FINALLY A SOLUTION THAT WORKS
- @GunGamer-0070 Nice dude! That worked for me~

yea same, just gonna try the method to fix now hope it works for me
didnt work for me
FINALLY, TYSMMM
- @GunGamer-0070 Dude thank you sm you are a legend
well, the WAY easier fix for this would be just to set Adaptive Resolution FPS Target to 0 - that disables the Radeon BOOST Feature ingame, which does exactly what the problem explained here was. No need to check anything in the drivers like ANTI-LAG or even using enhanced sync, which both can cause even MORE stupid issues with the good old Apex CS Source Engine.
Radeon Boost Technology
Like the name implies, Radeon Boost is a variation on the resolution-altering tools that increase GPU performance intelligently. It will take its cues from movement on the screen, as opposed to a traditional frames-per-second metric.Thank you sir!
- @GunGamer-0070 This fixed it for me! That Radeon Boost smh
just go to your display setting in apex put in defult
