Re: frame rate cap out of no where apex legends

I'm also facing the same problem, I read quite many articles about this and it all leads to the new nvidia features, low latency. Somehow the new nvidia drivers locked the in-game fps.

Try to revert back to previous nvidia driver.

EDIT : I managed to solved the problem of FPS capped/locked by turning off Nvidia Whisper Mode and turn off Battery Boost in the Nvidia GeForce Experience settings and control panel.  Now, my fps is no longer capped at 40fps and currently its around 144hz and above consistently.
