Re: Frequent Crashes on PS5 (Apex Legends)

@TheLonelyHunt3R

Thanks for giving it a shot. I think it might be best to reach out to PlayStation Support to see if they have any other recommendations on ways to fix this error message. You can find more information on how to reach them over at the PlayStation Support website

  • Apex legends is unplayable on my ps5, constantly crashing with this error code, I can play every other game just fine and no errors.  I rebuilt the database, didn't fix it, i then factory reset my ps5 and downloaded the game again and still the problem persists, Sony won't do anything as its just apex it is happening on, playstation told me to reach out to EA.  I have spent an awful lot of money on apex legends and I am very very stressed about the situation.  Can anyone please help

  • I am returning to this topic in order to supply some additional information regarding this issue and maybe raise some awareness for potential game/account issues that could become widespread in a future update. I initially reported frequent/immediate crashes on Apex since the launch of the PS5. Afterwards I tested more games and discovered that Destiny 2 shared a very similar crashing pattern, essentially preventing me from playing the game with the same error code. Recently, an update to the game caused a lot of players to crash and Bungie investigated the issue (https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/258887414?sort=0&page=0) and released a patch which indeed fixed it and allowed me to access the game after months. Observing this situation I am convinced that my issue is not hardware related but game/account related. I would like to encourage a similar investigation from the development team at Respawn for crashes on my account when playing on PS5 for a possible resolution.

    Thank you.

    Its the game itself. Not your ps5. I have the same problem. The last update killed the game.

    It’s not your PS5 or anyones PS5 it’s literally EA. It’s 100% EA since I’ve been having this problem since the PS4. I’ve complained multiple times and they just recently came out with a help forum for this specific bug and it still doesn’t fix our problem. Sony told me that the whole point of a error screen is to give the player a insight on what might have caused the crash and this has been a consistent things since PS4 when I couldn’t play Apex for more than 20 mins with a crash happening. I’m on PS5 now and the timer extended from 20 mins - 1 1/2 hours or game time before the crash takes place (granted this was me having back and forth calls about this problem) this should be fixed already and honestly it’s quite embarrassing. This is a profile/account problem and I’m hoping that when they decide to do a performance update for the new gen consoles it’s fixed by then

  • I would like to see respawn take action and ea they are on your pay roll, the public cannot force them to fix it; only give our voice! Please make respawn do what needs to be done so that everyone can enjoy their favorite game. (If not respawn or ea the actual creators of the game)

    I realized that as well, see many games like Fortnite and call of duty have different companies. So when I play apex as of now, season 19 it’s been crashing and freezing and I did all the steps from the code error and it has solved nothing, it’s just the game itself. I’ve been able to play Fortnite with some of my friends fine but with apex ever since the update it just crashes on me
