Re: Game Crashes on Loading Startup screen

Was having game crash handler error. Only solution that worked for me it was install directx11. You can check the dirextx version runing by searching for "dxdiag" 

Gladly announcing that I've found the solution for me and possibly those who experience some issue with launching game on a system protected by Dr.Web security space.

So the more I was looking into this problem the more I suspected Dr.Web software of disrupting the vital processes of the game. And after attempting to make a clean boot for windows, thus disabling any services except self protected Dr.Web ones, I have found that the game still refuses to work. Than my suspicions have grown to a certainty.

First of all I tried to get game files and every execution binaries into exception list and disable preventive protection before game launch.
-This worked before shockwave season split but not anymore!-

Unfortunately, I can declare that at this state Apex EAC (Only apex for some reason) software can't exist together with Dr.Web 12.0 without issues. So here is what I did:

Short answer – I reinstalled Dr.Web security space.
First I deleted 12.0 version using Dr.Web installation manager and verified that after restart Apex started working properly again. After successful launch on both platforms I decided to try installing Dr.Web 11.5 from official website to see if this version will change the situation. When antivirus was set up I made a reboot and tried launching Apex. This time the game did not fail to boot.

I am still not sure if this is a result of the reinstallation process or whether 11.5 version just doesn't fight "suspicious" threads so radically, but for now I plan on leaving it as it is. In the future updates this problem may return and repetition of this process might become necessary. Through, considering that this only occurs in Apex, but not in many other projects widely using EAC software, I hope after further investigation EA will fix this compatibility issue.
