Re: Game doesn't launch at all (EASY ANTICHEAT BANNER and closing)

I don't have an error message either... The Anti-Cheat banner dissapear and brings me back to Origin.

I played 1 or 2 games before this happened, then I started with the aura thing (Already uninstalled the service) and couldn't get back into the game.

I reinstalled the game in a different folder and it started working. Instead of downloading it to programfiles x86 try downloading it to "my documents" instead! Hope it helps

I just installed APEX, and when I start, it appears the EAC banner and a violation error code 0000007. I've already tried to repair the EAC service, and in the EAC play list APEX does not appear, what should I do?

After the anticheat loads it restarts my PC geez

I'll be taking off for the night but we'll have some additional Community Managers jumping on soon. I gathered a list of some things that have been working for some players so far which I recommend going through real quick to make sure you have them all covered. Keep in mind that everyone has different programs installed on their PC and various configurations/hardware, so finding a fix that works for everyone is ideal, but not always easy. We're keeping an eye on this thread to make sure we get a fix for you as soon as possible.

First and foremost, make sure your PC has the latest updates for Windows installed and drivers for your devices. It's something easily overlooked and video card drivers come out quite frequently now. NVIDIA  just came out with some yesterday and I've already seen a lot of outdated drivers for video cards being posted on our boards. Search "Windows Update" in the taskbar search bar to check for pending updates for Windows.

Here is how to download the latest drivers

Additional steps:

- Try deleting Origin and re-download the latest version here: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download
- Try running CCleaner and it's registry tool, then reinstall Origin. (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Can-t-boot-the-game/m-p/7419224#M5)
- Right-click on the Origin desktop shortcut and run as administrator
- Right-click on Apex Legends in Origin and select "repair."
- Perform a clean boot (This disable all programs that aren't required to run your PC. This is how we can tell if it's a program running in the background that's conflicting with the game)
- Add Apex Legends/Origin to your exception list for your anti-virus
- Disable any other overlays like Discord overlay
- Make sure you don't have other games running in the background (Fortnite mentioned here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Launch-Error-Access-is-Denied/td-p/7419741)
- Uninstall Aura program if you have it
- Try reinstalling the game to a different folder (Example: Select my documents as destination)
- Programs like Windows Defender can cause interference with Origin. Try adding Origin to the exception list and/or consider temporarily disabling it to determine if that could be the cause when you try to launch the game. You may have already tried this but I just had the same issue. I exited Origin, updated it, ran as administrator and now it works. Maybe give that a shot. Good luck!

Uninstalled Origin via Control Panel (was on probably a year old version), downloaded it from the website, installed it, and the game launched fine.

This fixed my problem for me. I updated my nvidia drivers to 418.81 and had been restarting Origin when it would tell me an update was available. Yet for some reason, uninstalling the Origin client, downloading a fresh version from the official site, and reinstalling Origin was all it took.

Having the same issue with the anti-cheat close after loading, I manage  to fix the problem buy update the last version of origin.

I just enter here https://www.origin.com/nld/en-us/store/download and download the last version after that should work. For me work just fine after that! Hope it helps the other also!

Yes I had same issue as others. The re install of the Origin launcher client fixed it. I believe some have older Origin launchers like I did and it said it needed to update. Which I allowed. But My Origin launcher still looked not up to date as the latest. I would recommend Uninstalling Origin Launcher, go to the https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download and download and install this one. You should be good

So basically what you are saying is:

* clean install Windows or buy a complete separate system in order to play this game.

No it's not helping. Seriously. I think it may be caused by cpu too. Mine is intel core 2 quad q9650...

for that you need to see what Microsoft Visual C++ you have

this game needs the 2015 version

if you dont know what version you have just go to control panel and go to uninstall program

then scroll down till you see microsoft visual..

if you dont have it download it
