Is there ever gonna be a fix? @EA_Blueberry ? It's freaking annoying that you can't enjoy such a good game for so long. Hope you guys can atleast give us something, if you are even trying to come up with a fix or not. All I see is you quoting some temporary adjustments, not even real fixes.
Same problem, AMD Fx 6300, GF 1050Ti 4gb, windows 10, 8gb ram.
Yup same here, I've been able to get it working bt disabling cores 5 & 6 in the bios, obviously a temporary solution but it doesnt look like an official one is in the works.
The CPU starts to bottleneck when the other cores are off at certain points, upgrading shouldnt be needed as it supports almost all modern titles including competitors.
Im running:
AMD FX-6300 processor
12GB RAM
XFX RX580 8GB graphics
Windows 10
I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet. But I have a question for you. Do you play PuBG or ROE? What are your frames in those games? I can't afford to upgrade my whole system right now and was thinking of getting that GPU you have (I currently have a R9380 4gb). It's maxed at 100% all the time and was hoping if I just upgrade the GPU for now it will help.

I hope that helps you above. @InVyUI just posted some very helpful details on vCore values under our Community Crashing Troubleshooting Guide that I forwarded along to our experts investigating crashes. Capping your FPS to 60, playing in borderless Windowed mode, setting Easy Anti-Cheat priority to low, setting Texture Streaming Budget lower (in-game settings), and lower the monitor refresh rate are all seeing some good signs of playing the game without crashes.
I don't have any progress updates to share around this right now from the team, but AMD will be visiting with Respawn this week so we'll make sure this gets visibility to them. We'll provide an update as soon as we can.
Haven't played PUBG on this yet myself Played it mostly on Xbox one but I know a guy that's playing it on a 1050 TI so it should be fine though he has a FX 6350 CPU so not directly comparable.
same issues , fx-6300 and amd r9-270 freezing in main menu and battle and get disconnect ,and sometimes get bad_module_info too , really unplayeable but this awesome game when i can't play with ☹️
@EA_Blueberry Any news yet, disabling 2 of the cores seems to be a temporary solution as i'm getting the same error now with only 4 running. When i get in the game i get frame drops now too on the lowest settings.
New CPU (obviously) fixed the problem for me. I wish you guys all the fixes 😞
This will be really good season if they won't fix this... In 60% of my games 1 of my teammates have errors/dc's

I don't know if the new update is out yet, but can someone please update this topic once it is out? I want to know if the new patch fixes this problem. Patch notes say nothing about this but I am still hopeful.
Nothing. Still freezing in game and in main menu. Im very dissapointed.
The locking up has been happening to me every so often. Not every game though, which is strange.
It's also a pain trying to close the game as alt-tabbing to task manger won't do anything.
My specs are:
AMD 8350
r9 280x
16gb of RAM
@voltaizerI am sure they are making enough money as is. Why would they bother with a bunch of players who are unfortunate. This is what happens when a studio considers us as consumers and not gamers.
I am disgusted enough with EA already, I won't be holding my breath.
