Re: Game freezes when clicking Ranked

I'm not quite sure if this is the same thing though. OP cannot even get into game modes while most of the reports from what I see are coming from gameplay.

You can check CPU usage through Task Manager with CTRL + ALT + DELETE when Apex Legends is open. Please let me know if you were able to update Windows to see if that helps.

    I also have this issue since the start of genesis update.

    Everything is updated. and the like has been done.

    Joining people in other modes also freezes the game, Which sucks  as I can't do arena for the event and even rank with friends.

    After the Genesis update came, lots of people have these two problems including me, first this infinite black loading screen and second game freezing/crashing when joining friends or trying change the game mode sometimes both. Personally my CPU usage doesn't jump up to 100%, it does the opposite it goes down to 20-30%. I have everything updated and I even have deleted riot vanguard to try if it works, it didn't. Also very rarely when the freezing happens and it doesn't crash, it throws me to main menu and gives one of these three errors : leaf, net or wheel

    Same,. they are doing nothing about it.. its been well over a week.. they dont care

    Hey, all.

    Do you all happen to be getting an infinite black loading screen? If so, that is a priority for the team and they have plans to to address it soon.

    We are still exploring various workaround fixes through troubleshooting. At this moment though, it appears to be connected to other related issues of being stuck at the loading screen. The fix is being looked into by the team as a priority and we'll share updates on that as soon as we find out more. This must be incredibly frustrating to deal with and everyone willing to troubleshoot with us patiently, it's greatly appreciated. If we come across any tips on getting around this bug we'll let you know ASAP.
