Re: How do I fix an invalid EA account?

The issue for me was that I activated my friends account who had ps plus as primary so I could use his but as soon as I activated the account I was playing on as primary ps4 the issue no longer occurs

I played Apex last night with no issue but I signed in this morning and its now telling me "account invalid". I've been playing since launch and I've never had this issue before. I've also been using the same email since launch as well. 

I've been playing on this account since battlefront 2 was released and my psn is on a different email than my ea account but have never had any issues until this morning when I went to go onto apex. Now it's saying it's invalid. Tried changing the password, rebooting the game, shutting down the PS4 and still not working.

Im have the same issue on xbox right now and its irritating.

Never seen it before, but as of a few minutes ago it says invalid account.

Yeah same thing happened to me today, never messed with me EA info since I got an account 4-6 years ago. May be updating security measures or something. Go to log in here and change your password, it fixed it for me. Game on!

i’ve been playing apex legends since launch and i was able to play last night completely fine and now i got the pop up that says that my account is invalid. i have never had this problem before, I just changed my password because i saw that it is supposed to fix it, but i still have the problem. please help 

i reset my password too but it still isn’t letting me log in, how long did you have to wait?

You should wait about 90 minutes. They just email you saying there’s nothing they can do, and then when you try to do a call or chat it doesn’t give you the option to! I’ve had this issue as well for the past week, have made about 8 different cases and they still have yet to contact me to actually resolve the issue. I’ve also reset my password etc etc... this is ridiculous and I’m getting fed up with EA

I’ve also had apex forever, and have never had an issue until now! They just keep telling to me make more cases for me to continue to get the same answer! “Please use the call or chat option” I DONT HAVE THAT OPTION!!!

Are you sure you're changing the password for the account that has your gamertag/PSN ID is linked to? I checked the account you're posting with and it doesn't have one linked to it. So, if you're resetting the password using the same account you're posting with here, it won't work as you need to use reset the password for the account that has your Xbox gamertag/PSN ID linked to it.

My account was hacked from my ex boyfriend, I originally had it attached to all his stuff when we were together. He changed all the information without me knowing recently and kicked me out of all my stuff. Yes I am aware this isn’t the account. Hence the reason I’m just wanting to speak to an actual person and not an email animated person giving me the same answers

If you don't know what account your PSN ID is linked to, you'll need to go through the account recovery process here.

Is there anyway to speak to someone without going through the case process. I’m getting no where and getting so frustrated with EA.

When it comes to account recovery, there's no one you can speak to about it. You need to prove you own the account by being able to accurately answer the questions in that webform.

I’ve already tried doing this, I don’t know how to explain any further that my account was hooked up to my EX BOYFRIENDS when we were together over a year and a half ago. It has HIS information as I did not own my own PlayStation at the time! I received emails about a month ago saying someone changed my information (guessing my ex) and then I get kicked out of my EA account. I’ve tried getting in contact with him but he will not respond to help me figure this out further. He hacked my account attached to his and now I am no longer accessible to it! I have both his emails that would be attached but I CANNOT ACCESS THEM AS HE IS MY EX BOYFRIEND AND I DONT TALK TO HIM!!! This is * stupid!!!

I see I’m not the only one with the issue and not the only one that you guys HAVE NOT HELPED!  I literally only play Apex, I wouldn’t be so damn aggravated if it wasn’t the ONE game I play!
