Hard wired.
Ping is about 30 at my usual servers no packet loss. Oregon servers.
Checked some other west coast servers higher ping. 70 +
All the same. Lag spikes, constant stuttering while running around, and in combat pepole are ice skating.
Everyone I played with yesterday had the same issue. Hope the information I gave you is helpful.

If you haven't already, try power cycling your modem, router and console. Also, clear your alternate Mac address with these steps:
Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear" - @EA_Aljo
I I powerd cycled, cleared mac.
I also connected my x box to a nighthawk router and went ahead and prioritized the xbox 100% and my phone is the only device on that network. I have two different internet providers over. I'm a selfish gamer. So there are no interference on my network.
I tried limiting the servers radios as well on duma. But that caused an issue. So I opened the radius. I'm using wired connection buddy. It says my ping is 24, my server is Sao Paulo. We just had a new update on Ps4 but the lag keeps ruining the game for me :/

I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

Ok my stats are out of the way. This is all based on last night so if it has changed today that would be great.
Played with 6 different friends and also some solo games with the same impact as described her: Lagging out of dropship, land and skipping across the ground, shifting to feeling like you were running through mud. Jump and it acts like zero gravity. Upper right corner of my screen is full of red icons some flashing some solid.
Now for my technical side: my modem/ router were re-booted after first game of this happening. No change. I switched over to some other online games for a bit as did my friends and we played a couple of other online games, no issues. I mean no issues at all with connections.
So we came back to Apex and the issues were still there. Lagging bad, 2 games of ranked and lost because we could not hit a damn thing. Went to pubs and it smoothed out after say a minute or so. This ruled out hot drops obviously.
My question is and don't take this personally if you work for EA, when are the servers going to get fixed? I mean permanently not just patch fixed? Code:leaf,net etc errors have been a common thing. Random disconnects as well. I mean it got so bad in Season 3 I went and bought a brand new PS4 Pro just to see if it made a difference and nope, disconnects just as frequent as before.
Love the game, but the connection issues a year in are a big deal breaker for me as far as playing and/or spending money on a broken game.
Tl:dr, I know that community managers are trying to help, but the problem is the same answers will be given if you contact technical support. How about some recognition that there are problems with your servers and that they are going to get fixed?(Our modems and routers did not magically create lag with a new update of software coming out)
I gave up trying to work with tech support last March when the only answer was there was a problem with my end of things and there was nothing wrong with the servers or connections. Too much time has passed for this to still be a problem in my books, if my network that I manage at work for our machining centers and engineering computers had this many issues I would be out of a job.(Granted it is a smaller infrastructure, but I am only one person managing it)

At this time, the best we can do is continue to troubleshoot. We're aware of the reports from others about this so it's possible we'll have some additional information at some point. For now, either we can continue to keep trying to get it resolved on an individual basis or you can keep an eye on our official channels for updates.
the same for me I talk with the EAsupport 4 days ago I got gigabyte speed with 20 pings in my internet connection I did USO trace and appear as 9 pings 0 packet loss I live in Miami, so my near server is South Carolina, I even bought VPN and use just to changed IP to see if there any change and use a different server to get better connection I went to play packet loss of 0 still lagging with a ping of 20 that is insane, I switch my DNS to GOOGLE DNS to check if improve nothing even having improved speed by 67 % using "namebench" I was lagging with ping of 20 and packet loss of 0 in apex legend lobby checker, the support team check the USO tracer and have the conclusion that is line congestion no internet problem I called my internet provider they said that Im good I check with another game nothing i got this problem only with apex legend I spent more than $ 100 for being a free game im certainly no paying one more cent there's not honest feedback they don't want to say we mess this up so bad we need some time to fixed, that is how it is, their support team is not honest at all and look like they have been told to tell players that is congestion ,how could be congestion problems the entire USA is playing APEx now ,come on I restart and power cycle router to nothing this have been hapening for 4 days.It just don't have an answer for what could be they have no idea that's what it is.
Yeoo, i'm from Miami as well, but im connected to Dallas rather than South Carolina... they're all horrible right now regardless lol
Just adding that I'm experiencing this as well, Xbox One S. Good network diagnostics, but constant stutter for my movement and virtually all other players look like they're lagging. One time had a screen freeze as long as 2 seconds. Looking forward to hearing the fix.

I'm having LAG problems when I'm in the 4th season matches (normal or ranked), when entering them almost always appear icons (Latency, Congestion and Packet Loss
). I already uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and everything is the same.Console PS4 (500GB), Belgium Servers (Ping 40-44), i am from Portugal. My connection internet is fiber 120mb download and 12mb upload.

Hello, i Posted 2 times but i dont know where is my posts, i have a huge fps drops since season 4 update, and the game is not playable at all i tried every possible thing OC - lowering graphics and resolution but no matter i did nothing work ! i still lose the same exact fps everytime...

This doesnt help. Ive done this multiple times and still lag. Hardwired no wireless. No one I'm playing with or against seems to be having issues. Very frustrating
I'd rather pound sand than keep trying the same thing expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity. These issues have raised my blood pressure. I think its time for everyone to blast this out on social media. EA needs to do something about this now before they lose all their loyal clients
- @BlazerClay the update fix some things but no the lag spike is minimum now but we still have is clearly an end problem in their servers, because before the upgrade I was lagging really bad im this only happens with this game so, and yes is not about troubleshooting is not my end is their end with the updated improve a little bit but not completed
