Re: i can't play 4:3 resolution on full screen

This is just straight up stupid.I play at 1280x1024 streched but doesnt work anymore :'( I CANT PLAY ANY FPS GAME AT NATIVE RES 1080P.Every single fps game i plaed in my life was 1280x1¸024 streched coz its so much better.Fix this crap please

    There is TOP teams who uses this and they all qualified for the majors. LG esdesu, SNG VintaGe and BcJ from snipe abusers. i know for fact that all these are playing stretched and with the majors around the corner i really hope they fix this quick. and ofcourse for us regular players that have x amount of hours put in to this that has played stretched. as me i got 900hours in to this game and i always played stretched.

    @EA_Kent since you replied.. can you also ask them about why when i start the game defaulted in 4:3 it always has black bars? I have to every time switch resolution to different one and switch back to finally make black bars dissapear..

    I've tried after the update, not having used it prior (I play 16:9 was just trying to help a friend that uses 4:3), and it worked fine with -w 1280 -h 960 and the settings on nvidia control panel. So I'm guessing some ppl still have the black bars due to an issue with some saved setting files that existed prior to the update.

    Have anyone tried clear the apex files, the my documents and the cache ones?

    I completely wiped everything about Apex from my pc and redownload it and still same issue.I tried ALOT of resolutions but none works at all always having black bars that i didnt have.I tried running other fps games that io play and they all work perfecly as i was sure they would.Last nights update completely ruined streched res. players like me.Ive just tried right now to play at 1080p didnt go so well+fps drops+its disquisting since i have played fps games at streched from very begining when i played older shooter games.

    @WCKD_Fameq no, i have black bars after the update regardless of anything, i was just asking about previous version of game, i always had black bars at start and had to switch resolutions to get rid of it.. do you also have black bars when you start the game or does it start stretched already like csgo? am talking about previous working version of the game

    So all we can do is hope for quick fix. I tried 16:9 but i rather not play the game as my FPS and the feeling is so different. so please EA/RESPAWN patch this in cant be that hard?

    @WCKD_Fameq it seems like they did a major * up in this update, many people report many different weird bugs, i dont think we are getting stretched update soon, most likely in a week or so, like it was before. I still cannot wrap my head around how this can get *, its based off of source engine, the one csgo runs on, i dont remember any issuess with stretched in csgo and games running on this engine. who tf wants to play fps games on full hd anyways, every cs pro plays on stretched, how people play apex on full hd is beyond my comprehension.

    It's always the same thing. They already did it in past. Like they say: "It's very complicated problem" - and boom year has passed and the same result as you've disabled muzzle flash with a command...

    So strech will be back? Because my game on my 17" monitor on 1024 works on 40-60 fps and its playble, now, im playing can't even see over 20m a person without scoping because its to small. Bigger rez wont even open on my wooden pc. Hope u will bring it back!

    Know_em_sayin I had the same problem before the update. you would have to switch resolutions from your main resolution to other and back again to your main resolution to fix black bars. Right now the new updated * the whole thing breaking the stretched resolution.

    @Know_em_sayin If you put game in windows mode by default, after you launch game just press alt+enter and it black bars will disappear. Try it when they will fix stretch

    @Know_em_sayin Game did always start with black bars before, but instead of swtiching resolution, u can use the command for fullscreen toggle twice (ALT+ENTER). It normally scales up to fullscreen after doing that twice, aslong as the commands are working tho, which they arent currently

    @Erlandukaz This company is straight up annoying for not fixing this yet.I dont mind that i need to use autoexec to remove black bars but now game is unplayable for me.They seem not to give 2 flying * about us since no1 is responding with any news.

    trash developers, trash respawn,I think they will need a year to fix this, the same thing that happened with a muzzle flash.

    @NoBrainMyWay What muzzle flash?I heard people complaining about that thing but ive never had any issues with it.Maybe i disabled it somehow via autoexec o.O.Idk whats wrong with this crap

    @WCKD_Fameq it doesn’t turn off in autoexec for a long time, in the last patch they turned it off, but it still remains on the gold stabilizer :D
