Since your PC and PlayStation accounts are linked to separate EA accounts, we won't be able to merge them. You can link your PSN ID to the same EA account that your PC account is linked to, but it won't bring over any of the progression from the previous account it was linked to. However, you will need to wait 6 months between linking accounts before that's possible.

I linked the PSN account back to the original account so this is the original ea account my PSN was on.

It sounds like the issue is that your PC and PSN accounts are linked to different EA accounts. Both needed to be on the same EA account before the merge happened.
