Re: Infinite Download loop

Sorry to see that you are having issues @KOR_ChiefEditor.

Can I ask you to ensure that the ports for Origin are open on your router:

  • TCP: 80; 443; 9960-9969; 1024-1124; 3216; 18000; 18120; 18060; 27900; 28910; 29900
  • UDP: 1024-1124; 18000; 29900

Once done, try the download again and see what happens.

Let me know how you get on.

  • How the hell do I change that ? My download speeds are stuck at 24 kb/s max whilst my internet download speed is around 40 MB/s. My game downloads for 3-4 days whilst I can watch 4K 60 fps videos on YT without any issues. WTF ???

Best thing for it @NedaGarib is taking a couple of minutes and trying the following steps:

    • Disable all background programs on your system (including Steam). You can also do this with a clean boot
    • Temporarily disconnect all other devices that you don't need from your network
    • Use a wired connection
    • Make sure Origin is accepted in your anti-virus and firewall
    • You can also try using Safe Mode Downloading via Origin which is under Application Settings, Advanced

Let me know if they make a difference.

  • I have tried these steps before. Btw the safe mode makes my download pause to 0.00 and won't go. I also got in contact with the support team and followed 3 different methods but nothing seems to work. I even reinstalled windows from how pissed I was and I got the same result.

This would point to a system issue @NedaGarib, I just tested Origin on a number of machines there and had no issues on any.

Try disabling your anti-virus and Firewall to see if it helps?
