With a notebook PC high temperatures like this can often happen because of a lack of airflow. Make sure your PC's air vents aren't blocked and that they are able to pull in air. Also keeping the PC on a flat, solid surface is a good idea so it can displace heat. 

If you're comfortable, it might also be worth taking a look at your BIOS to see if you're able to adjust the fan curves. That might allow you to increase the fan speed so that it starts moving more air before the temperatures get that high.
