Linux players getting banned

@blinxington  I'm also able to play again and also have no email confirmation or update on the ban history page.

Considering there's been no communication from an EA representative (or Respawn) it makes me wonder if they have temporarily disabled the enforcement of the bans while they work on a real fix. That would be concerning as there's a risk we'd just get banned again.

Hopefully someone from EA/Respawn can join the thread and provide some clarification! 🙂 @EA_David

@ADAMPOKE111 Played probably like 10 or so games just now and seems to all be fine. Still needing an update from EA though & the ban to actually be removed from the ban history on our accounts.

    Same over here played with my friends about 7 or 8 rounds of apex. Didn't counter any ban messages or kicks.

      I am also able to queue into the range again!

      Ban history still shows on my account, and EA continues to shut me down every time I dispute it.

      They also still have yet to put out a formal statement, offer compensation for this, or even acknowledge the fact that it is occurring in the first place. That is not good PR for the company.

        @FAT9LI agree it is poor that there's been extremely minimal communication here.

        Good news, though! Supposedly one of the moderators of the Apex Legends subreddit got in contact with the right people/person and has got the bans reversed and the issue has been fixed!

        It is disappointing, though, that I had to get this information from a third-party... The lack of communication doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me for any future issues. A formal statement and compensation for the time & effort wasted for loyal, paying customers and players would be appreciated.
