I tried to run the game on: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Pro/LTSB/Home/insider preview, but nothing helped.
Many times I restored the game, many times it downloads again...
But I found a solution:

1. Close Apex and Origin.

2. Delete this:
-Folder %appdata%/EasyAntiCheat
-Folder EasyAntiCheat in game folder
-File EasyAntiCheat_launcher.exe and EasyAntiCheat_x64.dll in game folder

3. Run Origin and repair Apex.

4. Run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe from Game_Folder/EasyAntiCheat/
and now a little magic:
select 7 Days To die
select back Apex
click Repair Service text (left side)
It seems that the anti-cheat installer incorrectly selects the game for which it is installed. In С:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat the correct exe file with anti-cheat from 19.08 should appear (remember when it all started?). For the lazy I will attach correct eac files in this message (just copy it to С:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat).

5. Run Apex and enjoy
The mystery is easily solved.

Tried everything under the sun nothing worked. Went into bios and took off my overclock which was fine for every other program. Set cpu to auto and frame rate is back to normal

@DragonSplendor @EA_Blueberrycan confirm. It works for me! The steps I did were even simplier:
1) Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat, check the EasyAntiCheat.exe file date - it should be something different from 19.08 (strangely, from August)
2) Go into game folder, straight into EasyAntiCheat folder, run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe, choose any other game aside from Apex, install, switch back to Apex Legends, click "restore", finish.
3) Check back the EasyAntiCheat.exe in Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat - it should be now dated from 19.08 (August 19th)
4) Run the game and enjoy.

@xZHKER my file is from 19.08 but it didn't work for me. still the same bug.

@m0NEYof, before doing everything step by step I also had this file from 19.08. I don't know how, but it helped me.

I followed the steps ... does not work, continues 30 fps, very strange that works for everyone except me. I'm sure I followed the steps, sad

@EA_Blueberry I think you should unmark this issue as resolved, because not everybody are able to fix this with EAC manipulation. It helps somebody (including me), but, obviously, not everyone.

@xZHKER Did you install the EAC from another game or just switched to the dropdown and then go back to apex? thanks

@m0NEYof in the EAC app i switched from Apex to a random game, restored EAC for that game, then switched back to Apex, and restored EAC for Apex. Hope it helps.
