Re: Mid to high end pc- micro stuttering, lag, random fps drops, and texture issues

@GendochiAppend that to your startup options: -dev -novid +fps_max unlimited

Nvidia crontrol panel: Enable gsync. Deactivate vsync global, but enable it especially for apex legends. Don't use Low Latency Mode, leave that disabled.

Don't enable vsync in Apex Legends. I recommend going no more than 2-3 Gb with the texture streaming budget or it will costs more performance. I would deactivate anti aliasing, it is no longer necessary for wqhd.

Optional use that videoconfig settings (C:\Users\*username*\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local), replace the content completely, save, right click and set read only;

Apex Legends should now run smoothly. I don't have a solution to the texture problem, but everyone struggles with it including all of the streamers I watch.

    Quick question before I do this, isn’t apex not reccomeded to go above 180 frames as the engine cannot support it, by uncapping fps wouldn’t this cause issues?

  • @Gendochi Since gsync and vsync are on, no. In combination with this, Nvidia Reflex, which is active by default, ensures that it runs with an extremely low latency.

    So what should I do about nvidia reflex in Apex Legends should I enable it or disable it ?
