Re: packet loss in battle royale only

Hey @M0gima,

If you're having issues with packet loss it may be worth trying these troubleshooting steps

In particular I'd suggest trying the steps to clear and/or change your DNS as that can help with similar situations.

For any errors regarding anti-cheat you may want to try reinstalling or repairing the Easy Anti-Cheat client itself via the steps on their website.

  • I agree. couple of Days Ago it Started with packet Loss.

In my case it is not every Game.  I can have couple of games without any issues , then i get into a game where i have packet loss from 50-90. I dont even get kicked out.  If i dont die i can play till the End.

Then i observed something... I got into a game of random duos where i had packet loss.  After that i teamed up with the same guy who i was in the game with , and every game with him i had packet loss. Once i left and got with a random it was fine. Until the next Game of Packet loss.

Theres definetly no issue with my router or ISP.

Also when the game with packet loss finishes , its impossible to return to Lobby. You are stuck in " connecting to Lobby" . It tried for 15 Minutes. Only Force close and restart works.

  • @EA_Mako there's still some freeze frame, but changing DNS(previously used goo*le. no i used cloudfl*re) helps a lot.
    it's playable now at least.
    thx

@M0gima Thanks for the update! Glad to hear that helped out a bit.

@Legendistan Any luck following those same steps above to change your DNS and see if it makes any difference in your situation as well?

  • No it didnt work for me.

My DNS is stock. I flushed it but still connecting to some games with LOSS. Its 90 at Start and the lesser people it gets lower until around 30 Loss.

  • @EA_Makobad news unfortunately. it happened again.
i only played 1 game earlier on to check the DNS change effect.

but now that i play it again, the loss appeared again.

    help please.

edit: if it helps, when the loss dissapears, i play at 4AM. while isually i play about 6-12 in the evening.

  • At Average i have loss every second game. If i knew which server im connecting i could check which Node or server is it. I checked with ISP and everything fine here.

Im conneting to Frankfurt so that may be an issue.

It started before the Christmas event
