I did everything you suggested and it still isn't working. In addition, I still get the netchannel removed error message. Is this on my end or the servers?

So far the trend is being able to play 2-3 games just fine and then a game with packet loss. The packet loss is constant and doesn't get better/worse during the game (which you'd expect from an unstable internet connection). After the game is over, I have to force close the game because the "connecting to lobby" message gets stuck. I also can't spectate anyone at that point.

It's already been mentioned in this thread so I highly doubt it's our collective internet connection being bad, especially when the game runs fine for a couple of matches. If it was my internet, I think I'd notice even a slight hint of packet loss in the normal games too, no? I've done everything I can to fix this but no dice; I really think it's a server issue or bug of some sort.

    Hi @speak2themanager

I don't think this is a server issue. 🤔 When I check our servers, they are showing up healthy and strong. You can check what the status of the Apex server is on across each platform from the EA help website and then searching for apex. Here's a shortcut: https://help.ea.com/en/apex-legends/apex-legends/

Once that page loads, you should see this:

You can check on the server status when you experience packet loss on this page to double-check your suspicions on the server end of things. Just click the option here titled 'server status' and it'll expand and display the Apex Server status for PC, PSN and Xbox. It'll look like this:

  • @EA_Lanna This is a widespread issue - lots of threads with the same exact problem. I have a thread that runs down all the solutions I've tried. Why you're not seeing anything on your end is because I don't believe this is a network issue but a code issue. The network is perfectly capable of handling the traffic - it's your code that's bottlenecking performance but only on a segment of players.

Why I think so - the game performance is worse under times of heavy congestion. The game became unplayable for me as numbers swelled for the new update - but then the weirdest thing happened - the glitch came out that prevented hundreds of thousands of players from being able to connect to the match for the new quest. While everyone was jammed up trying to get into the quest, I hopped in a normal round - and the game played flawlessly. Before May 5, the game performed perfectly for me. Occasionally during off-hours, the game still performs great for me.

During your issues with hit reg - it wasn't network related, it was software related. This is no different. Something was tweaked in the update roll out that is bogging your servers down.
