Re: [PS5] Party Member Preloading

Hey @sdarpo  Could you try to power cycle the console and see if that helps.

Power cycle the PlayStation console

  1. Completely turn off the PlayStation by holding the power button.
  2. Wait for the power light to stop flashing, remove the power cable and leave the system for 20 minutes.
  3. Reconnect and attempt to launch Safe Mode.

  • For some reason I don't get notifications on replies.

I've tried what @EA_Atic suggested, with no luck. I've changed my DNS-settings, I've gone through all of the Connectivity issues-threads and help pages and tried it all, but the problem remains.

Also, this ONLY applies for Apex on my PS5. All other games (including other EA-games) works perfectly on my PS5. I don't have this issue on my PS4.

  • I personally have this issue as well, but on my ps4. I've dealt with it the same way you have since the game came out, hoping for an eventual fix. I heard that perhaps deleting the internal save files (not just the game files but the saved data as well) and reinstalling the whole game could work, but I've been afraid I'd lose my account with all my cosmetics I've unlocked over the past 2 years. Have anyone tried this before?

One year has gone and it's still the same.

  • Having this issue for years now! It started on the ps4, hoped it would be fixed on the ps5 but it it’s not the case. It has nothing to do with the hardware it’s an account related issue. This my email [edit: email address removed] please help me find a fix for this.
