Progress is stored on the EA account itself, not either of the individual Xbox accounts here.

Because of that, unlinking an Xbox account will cause it to lose all the progress as it's no longer attached to the EA account.

Your brother would be able to connect that to his own EA account however, provided it didn't already have a different Xbox account attached previously.

Most likely you won't be able to unlink this yourself since you have two different Xbox accounts attached, but if you create a new case here and select Game Support > The EA app > I want to update my EA Account information, you should be able to get in touch with the support team so they can assist further.

since it is stored on the ea account itself does that mean if i unlinked my ea from my xbox and link it to a different xbox the progress will show on the new xbox account

Hey Xancje,

I've replied to your newer thread here, but just to clarify for this thread, it is not possible to transfer progress between separate accounts. You will only be able to link a single Xbox account to any one EA account over its lifetime; it is not possible to unlink one Xbox account and then link another to the same EA account.
