Re: Some graphic bugs in Nintendo switch version and lowered resolution after update

Sorry to keep posting,  but it appears the game is fixed.  The Halloween themed maps look cool even on switch and the graphics are back to how they were before.  I've been very critical on here so I think it only fair to acknowledge when you guys do something right. 🙂  I appreciate you acting promptly and getting the game running correctly for switch players, thanks. 

Pretty sure Respawn has changed some algorithm to deal with the graphics, I've also experienced blurry and unstable graphics, which didn't happen at all before the update.  After playing a few games with blurry graphics, all of a sudden it's back to normal, but then after a while the graphics became glitchy and it's barely playable again.

Glad to hear this is back to normal for you @AymCTL, though we're still seeing some other reports that the issue is ongoing.

It's weird my game was running beautifully last night, but today is having problems again. It isn't as bad as it was right after the update where the dummies in the firing range were just red lines moving back and forth and the background scenery wasn't showing up.  Today you can see everything just fine, but it all looks "fuzzy.". It's like the whole picture is wavy and some of the graphics distort.  I can't figure out why last night it was working so well, but I'm confident if they can fix it once they will again.  Thanks for keeping us posted.

I think it might be something to do with the collection event. When I looked at the new skins in the event, the graphics looked crazy and then I started playing and everything looked awful. The next time I played, I restarted my switch and didn't look at anything in the event, just the Legends selection screen and the horrible visuals were gone. Maybe it's just a coincidence though.

What happened to the graphics on switch they were fine last update and where's the 110 fov that we all have proof works on switch?

When u restarted the game was it gone or still there?

I went into team deathmatch tonight and it was near unplayable.  I couldn't tell the water from the rocks (it was the island setting with the rope bridges and white rocks) because all the graphics were pixilated and the distant enemies wouldn't appear on the screen, so I just had to hide in the building you start in and shoot at a distance where I saw the bullets coming from, so I only got one kill.  Also, when moving fast like during Revenants pounce the graphics were not discernable.  I was surprised deathmatch got so much worse in one night.  I hope it gets better like it was two nights ago soon.

I love Nintendo switch version version Apex and i want to do it better. But graphic...is this normal, according to you? I don't see anything(jpg)

@Imfezi I tried to restart my switch, not go to event and play a match but no luck.  I think it was just a coincidence to you, as sometimes the problem doesn't happen.  Moving objects distort so much but still objects look normal.  I do believe it was an intentional change to make motion more smooth, but change went so far.  I hope they can roll it back completely.

I beg you everyone to spam on forums or twitter EA/Respawn/Panicbutton for fixing switch version Apex legends. After last update graphic is literally most terrible of all time. We can't see nothing. Enemies blending with environment and nothing can be seen further than 3 meters. We are the same players as people from playstation/pc/xbox and we deserve the best version that our platform can provide. Use hashtag #savenintendoswitchapex in other social media and let's go to spam this problem, until this is resolved!!! I LOVE NINTENDO SWITCH APEX

Thanks @EA_Barry for monitoring this thread.  To be honest, the game has been running so well in at least the few previous seasons, it's been really enjoyable.  I believe the graphic glitch in the latest update upsets many of us.  We are not asking for any further improvement but will be more than happy if the graphic can be reverted to the previous version.  Hopefully the dev team could take this seriously and get it fixed asap.  Thank you.

Please fix this.  It was much worse tonight with not only the graphics being very pixilated and fuzzy, but I was moving in slow motion as well.  I had no chance against the other players since they moved at full speed and I was going about a third of the speed that you normally move on the switch version, meaning that right when I started shooting I was basically dead.  The time delay caused by the slow down from this glitch makes the game unplayable right now since there's no way you can be competitive with other players.

I was in the middle of doing the unlock revenant challenge.  Please fix this soon since I will have to double up my play time to get those things done once this is fixed.  It isn't fair to the switch players that were in the middle of this.  I still don't know why it worked once and then progressively got worse.
