Re: Texture Streaming Budget keeps setting to low 2-3GB

One player-side workaround i've seen is to force the config file to not change. So you can set your appropriate texture streaming value, then go to C:\Users\yourusername\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local and right-click videoconfig.txt.

Choose Properties > General > Attributes, and there'll be a checkbox for "Read-only", checking that will force your video config to stay static. I haven't tested this yet, but I've heard initial positive responses. This will of course need to be un-checked for any settings changes/once the base cause is addressed. 

@EA_David I tried that too. But it's not in effect. Please make the developer fix this bug ASAP. This is really annoying and it happens after I finish some game.

same problem here, i'm super annoyed by that! also, you can clearly see something is not right with graphics.. is kinda buggy and laggy!

Same problem here, I even removed the game and clear all the cache, and installed it again.

CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Memory: 32GB 3200MHz

Yes, this seems to affect all PC folks cross-playing with console friends.

The steps above to lock your settings file may help some folks. 

@MrTux Unfortunately we generally don't get ETAs for such issues, and can usually only comment once a date is confirmed by a dev/the patch is rolled out. 

Not even friends, just anyone who is playing on console. It's a terrible bug, it's getting really tedious to keep changing it all the time, even in-game... I can't understand why it's not a priority 'hot-fix' warranted issue, it's a serious thing having the graphics crap out on you and having to go into options all the time. =X I'm just afraid the devs don't seem to understand the importance of this getting fixed.

Also try uncheckiing the read only option for video config[WORKED for me}
