Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

Look, I realise no one on these foums can actually help with this issue but I'm posting this anyway on the off chance it gets noticed by someone with deeper access than the TOS team that can actually take a more detailed look at the evidence.

I was banned on the 17th of March this year for "Gameplay Enhancement", I have at no point used cheats in any game, or run anything that I believe could even be remotely misconstrued as cheating software.

I've requested my EA Account Data and there's no unusual login attempts and no signs my account is or ever has been compromised, I've also had 2fa enabled for years.

I hadn't played for a little while at the time of the ban, I wasn't notified about it in any way either so I can only assume it was part of a ban wave?

It's extremely frustrating to be falsely banned for something I didn't do and lose an account I put a lot of time and money into and I know I'm not alone here, someone from the Anti-cheat team really needs to review these detections.

Unfortunately, many players have put in the same effort as you over the past period, but the TOS team doesn't seem to care about them.

Im also going through the same ban reason "Gameplay Enhancement" the only difference is i was banned on july 15 of 2025 and im just now finding out about it. That was also around the time i bought my magnetic keyboard and a Logitech mouse i tried them on apex for a day because it was a game i was decent enough at to see what the competitive edge was from my old gear but i deleted the game because i lost interest and went to destiny 2.

They dont ban immediateley in moment of play and using hacks. They collect data, mark "dark" accounts. After that they look as spectator. After that they making ban-waves. So the cheater dont know what is the trigger of detection

TOS team simply does not care. Both the TOS team and EA help/support exist to tell you no.

Review section 15 of the terms if service. Send a written appeal to the address listed with all the required bits of information on the tos. At the end, make your demands (eg remove sanctions or refund purchases). Then say if your demands are not met you will file a arbitration claim (you must wait 60 days after sending the letter/ informal negotiations). This only applies if the tos specifies this an option in your country. If you live in the EU then there is some act and commision you can contact about it, i dont know the full details there.

If you do proceed with arbitration, EA will most likely just try to settle with you if they dont already within the informal negotiations period.
