@EA_Aljo I’ve tried that but this only effects my account, like if I go on my friends account Apex works just fine. I’ve been dealing with this for three weeks. I wanted to play apex season 8 on realese but I can’t, pls tell anyone about this I have 5 heirlooms and so many rare skins.

Try using alternate DNS settings. From the Xbox One screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4. Let me know what happens.

Hi, I also have the same problem where I cannot get past Continue Screen. I use Origin to load the game and my email is also tied to my Steam account. I start to have this problem after season 8 update. Previously, I was able to get to lobby via Origin. This issue only occurs on my email which is also tied to Steam. My other non-steam account have no issue loading to the lobby.
Same problem. After clicking conmtinue the game loads for a few seconds and then goes back to the main screen. No error no crash no nothing.
I reinstalled the game, verified files, updated drivers etc. nothing works. Changing servers doesn't work.
I think I have a different problem because 1 I’m one Xbox and mine says connection timed out when I click continue, and everytime I do it I have to sit in a black screen for over a min.

Just to share inputs that this issue only occurs when I have 2 Apex Legends: one is installed in Origin and the same account installed in Steam. I have not updated Steam but only updated Apex Legends Origin because i only use Origin to play. I have not logged in Apex Legends via Steam.
Playing Apex Legends on Origin with non-Steam accounts work fine.
Get kicked back from loading and I do not have a steam account, only use origin.
Not had this problem before season 8 patch, seen in other threads that removing usb flash drive solved it but that is not an option for me since I run this from a separate usb drive :P
@EA_Aljo Do you know if this will be patched in next weeks update. Because I’ve had this problem since the Fight Night event ended and EA developer David said it was put into investigation before season 8 but it was never fixed.

I don't have any updates currently. We'll need to wait and see what the investigation turns up. When we have some news, we'll share it.
@EA_Aljo Ok I’m asking because I know someone who has the same exact problem and has had it as long as I have(three weeks) and he’s gotten to the point where he’s demanding for a refund for his $1000 account. And I don’t want to get to that point because I’ve spent $2000 on this game and have put 2 years of time into this game
- @EA_Aljo So a couple months like the code: errors that people have been experiencing. You are asking for patience of people who don’t have anything else going on. It’s winter. There’s a pandemic. Is there a reason EA needs to make their customer service as complicated as possible? You tell people to go Twitter to watch for updates? You are a multi-billion dollar company and you can’t pick up a telephone and talk to the proper person at Respawn that can address the issue directly. Your game doesn’t work. Period. Cyberpunk set the precedent, you promised a product and you did not deliver, and when people asked you for answers for weeks before a new season and new major game update, you ignored us, pushed out the update anyway, and asked the rest of the community for more money while countless people can’t access content they paid for. I’ve already begun filing refund requests through Microsoft and I will pursue that until every dime I’ve put into this game is returned to me, regardless if my account is ever accessible again or not. The fact that people are having this issue on EVERY platform in varying degrees is insane. This game is in no state to be asking people for money, these issues are going to keep happening to more and more people, and only then will it get addressed. Too little too late.
I think to be fair, the community managers are not the developers so they can only help to provide as much support as possible.
Shout out to EA_Kent and EA_Aljo for being prompt and professional with their responses.
As long as the development team has not finished their investigation and find a resolution, I am afraid we have to wait and hope that the community managers can raise these as urgent issues.
- @EA_Aljo Same problem for me on xbox. It's something about my account because I tried on both my xboxes (one x and series x). My account cannot pass the continue screen, but other accounts can. I see quite a few people started reporting this after season 8 update; is it possible to escalate this issue to Respawn?
@michael1vasAlso me same problem on pc i use origin client but i havent tried with other account .. after season 8 update i cant get past continue screen i have tried everything when will this be fixed
- @EA_Aljo I'm having the same problem on my Xbox as well. My account won't load but my other family members on the same console will. I could play fine until I updated for the new season.
My friend is having this issue and we really want to play. Has it been fixed yet? We have tried literally everything on multiple forums and even been in contact with EA support but no luck.
ea support is saying no one is avalible rn but thats bs cause veryon is talking to them wth they told me last * it would soon be fixed as in last night i reinstalled the game and installed the orgin version to to help cause they said it would and didnt wtf is going on

The issue was first reported in these forums 4 months ago! So it's really disappointing if they're only now working on a fix because hundreds of extra players started being affected after Season 8 launched.
Simply fixing the issue is no where near good enough anymore. Everyone who missed ALL of Season 7 needs to be compensated with that season's battlepass at the very least.
@miqrodose The fact that it only just now got added to the dev tracker speaks volumes. I've only been dealing with it since the Season 8 update but it makes me feel really bad for the people who've been dealing with it for months and just got ignored because not enough people were affected for it to be worth it to the devs to fix their accounts. I don't have much confidence we're going to get a quick fix even now.
