Can you try using a wire? Even if you have to move close enough to your router to use one, it's worth trying as a test so we can rule out wireless issues.

We can't rule out any wireless issues then. There's no ethernet port on the modem/router?

Are you able to log in using a different account?

Also, something else you can try is deleting the personal saved data.

    1. Press the Guide button and then highlight the Apex Legends tile.
    2. Hit the Menu button. It's the small one to the right of the Guide button with 3 horizontal lines on it.
    3. Next, go to Manage game and add-ons > Saved data. Delete the file with your gamertag on it.

    Let me know what happens.

  • Same issue with the other account and clearing the saved data didn't do anything

Thanks for trying. Next, try alternate DNS settings with these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced > DNS Settings > Manual
    2. Enter Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and Secondary as 8.8.4.4.

Try playing again and let me know how it goes.

Is there no ethernet port on your modem/router? That would be really unusual if so. You could also try plugging straight into your wall instead of into the modem/router. We really need to rule out this being a wireless issue.

What does it say for the NAT and IPv when you go to your Network settings on your Xbox?

Sorry. I meant the IPv being blank is odd. I haven't seen that before. Are you sure it doesn't just say IPv & IPv6? That means you're using both. Which is fine. If it was just IPv6, you would want to switch to IPv4.

Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas as to what is causing this. It would be good to speak with your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues. Do you happen to have access to the administration for your modem/router? If so, it would be good to check the firmware and make sure it's up to date.

  • I'm planing on sending my console as a is it might be a hardware issue mainly ea games but other games too thanks for your help

Sounds good. If it's happening with other games too, it's possible there's a hardware issue. Good luck!

  • I don’t believe this is a hardware issue. I’m having the same exact issue as the previous commenter has described. All connections are functioning properly but failing to connect to EA servers. I’ve tried everything from hotspots to ethernets.

If what has been suggested in this thread and in the connection troubleshooting help here, please contact your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues.
