After scouring my PC for any cfg files i managed to find a cfg file named "Settings" in C:\Users\User\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
It was set to read only and had the "developer 1" command. After editing it out i was succesfully able to launch the game.

Thank you for reaching out.

I have verified the files in Steam, everything verified correctly, I have also performed a clean boot startup, tried the game and the error is still appearing.

I do not have nor have had an "EA App" installed on this system, so I have ignored the last step, detailing clearing it's cache.
For clarity's sake I'll mention that the game is currently installed via Steam and I would prefer it that way, although i have tested it with Origin and had the same exact error.

I believe some config file has not been deleted the first time i uninstalled the game 3-4 years ago and i'ts interfeering with the game's operations. I however have no clue whatsoever where such file would be located.

I am awaiting further instructions.
